Fracture management or broken bone management is treating broken bones with a cast or a splint. Fracture Management is divided into two parts, which are non-operative and operative techniques.
Non-operative techniques involve treating a cast, consisting of wrapping the injured/broken area with hardcover protection.
Meanwhile, the splint treatment will protect just one side of the broken part. Both the treatment techniques stabilize the bone and keep it straight.
For some fractures, you might end up getting an operative technique that might involve using steel, screws, plates, etc., that can hold the fractured bone together.
